Overall concept

The initial proposal of our theme holidays is to discover different regions, changing accommodation during the stay and participating in a variable number of activities. In each case, several accommodations – if possible with different packages – are proposed, with possible adaptation to budgets. The activities proposed correspond to the main theme, with varying frequency and intensity.

This theme’s concept

As mentioned in our blog about kitesurfing, Mauritius has many other spots than Le Morne. The main lagoons are technically detailed in the blog. This holiday-plan takes you to different lagoons. It focuses on holidays where kitesurfing is the main activity, with some off the board moments to enjoy with family or friends.

The kitesurf theme requires fewer switches between accommodation, than our other themes, especially for those who will need to take lessons as it is not desirable for a beginner to change instructors.

Accommodation

For this theme, the recommended accommodations are primarily those that avoid the driving to the spots. Starting off the villa’s doorstep is an achievable privilege Different types and formulas are proposed, depending on the group and the priorities.

Recommended Seasons

As the Mauritian summer is generally fairly still, kitesurfing conditions on the above mentioned coasts are only “guaranteed” during the southern winter months of June to September. The wind in October and November is lighter, frequent but with periods without.
