Bungalow Tikaz

Sophie and the Team at Bookmauritius Villas are really fantastic. The booking process was quick, simple and the communication was top notch. All our queries were promptly dealt with and every effort was made to make our trip to Mauritius the best it could be. The Team was thoughtful with personal touches for our kids, drinks and supplies on arrival as well as a gift for my father’s birthday. It really was top service and we appreciate all the efforts put into making our trip extra special.

Super stay in this small house ideal for a couple with children. Very well equipped with the white sandy beach and blue water right in front of the property. Barbecue and canoe are also available. In short, a postcard setting when you open the window. You may need a car as there are no shops in the immediate vicinity. Ideal stay nonetheless.

Just WOW!!! We had a wonderful time at Sophie’s bungalow. The area is really nice, calm, supermarkets and restaurants accessible by scooter or car and also small villages around. The bungalow is amazing. We stayed a week as a couple and had a wonderful time. The interior of the bungalow, the well-furnished bedroom and really well-equipped kitchen give you a feeling of being at home.

Karine came every morning to clean the place and cook a meal for the day. She was super super friendly and cooks super delicious food. The view from the bedroom and the private beach you have for yourself is the absolute highlight. You feel like you are actually in paradise. It was unbelievable and unreal even so much nicer than on the pictures.

Prior our arrival Sophie was really helpful with the transfer, organised a taxi driver who picked us up from the airport and gave us all useful information we needed for the stay ( for example supermarkets and restaurants around the bungalow)

We were lucky enough to spend two wonderful, magical weeks in the Tikaz bungalow. This accommodation is idyllic! A magnificent terrace overlooking a lovely, well-kept garden and a sandy beach. Intimate and privileged - but close to everything! The accommodation is spacious, even with two small children.

Sophie and Bernard gave us very warm and friendly advice on the activities etc on offer in their beautiful country. They were also extremely responsive to our requests.

The housekeeper, Pritee, was exceptionally kind and efficient. We ate food cooked by her throughout our stay, which was delicious! Not forgetting the delicious daily crêpes which delighted our little boy (and ourselves!)

Tikaz, a lovely typical house for 2 people with all the facilities you need for a very pleasant stay. Situated on the seafront with a splendid view over the lagoon.

We were looking for a beach bungalow for 2... not easy to find... and yet! The Tikaz bungalow seemed to meet our expectations in every way and it did!
Getting up every morning with the backdrop of coconut trees, sand and the sea, frankly, there’s nothing better.
Otherwise the bungalow is impeccable, extremely well laid out, beautiful decor and with everything you need. It is nestled in a magnificent garden, no promiscuity with the other rental next door. We felt like we were alone...

Additionally included in the price, there was the service of a domestic worker who came 3 hours in the morning, she prepared breakfast for us, maintained the bungalow, prepared a meal for the day and could even wash and iron our laundry if necessary.

Needless to say, it was a real holidays!

If you want to visit the island or go to other beaches, a car is necessary.

The slightest question or the slightest concern, top-notch responsiveness from the agency as well as from the owner who lives right next door and who is a charming woman.

I recommend this place 100%, you will not be disappointed!

We had a brilliant time was very relaxing, the villa was right on the beach with a lovely view. We had housekeeping and a prepared meal every day (excluding sundays) which was excellent and Priti the housekeeper was lovely and very friendly.

We used a taxi service to get around and Kashaan the taxi driver was very knowledgeable and told us lots of information about the island he is also an excellent driver and always punctual. Sophie who manages the villa was very welcoming warm and friendly. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

I highly recommend bookmauritius-villas.com. Thanks to Sophie Cayeux who allowed us to spend a week of idyllic holidays in late February. We really appreciated Sophie's very responsive and professional service as well as her thoughtfulness.

As for our rental ``Ti-Kaz`` which has a hotel-like service, housekeeping and meals prepared in the morning by the very gentle ``Foolo`` who made us discover Mauritian cuisine, we could not have hoped for anything better. Located on the East Coast in Roches Noires, we loved this unspoiled part of the island that keeps its authenticity. Cherry on the cake, the trade winds saved us from the heat, no need for air conditioning! We hope to be back very quickly, see you soon.

We had a most wonderful holiday at Tikaz in Roches Noires, it was a perfect little spot for me and my two boys. It was so helpful to have a lady to come and clean and cook. The neighbours, and other holiday makers were so friendly. Sophie and Bernard were willing to help with anything, no matter how small.
